Cloudy with rain for remainder of England and Eastern Scotland through the afternoon freshening S/SE wind cool 8-10C.

Rain clearing from eastern England and Scotland during the evening with showers following on fresh W/SW wind. temperatures 6-8C. Remaining cloudy southeast England with further outbreaks of rain overnight. temperatures 10C. Elsewhere scattered showers in west, clear skies for Midlands. temperatures 6C
 


Thursday
Low pressure west of Scotland on Thursday. This brings a cloudy day generally with a mix of sunny spells and frequent often heavy showers. Most of the showers will be in western and southern areas, fewest in the east. The showers could be thundery at times in the west and south. Feeling cool and windy in a fresh W/SW wind. Temperatures around 8 to 10C.
 


Friday
The area of low pressure will be in the North Sea on Friday. This brings a northwest to northerly flow and a mix of sunny spells and showers. More persistent rain may affect northern Scotland with a chance of the showers also being persistent in west Wales. Elsewhere scattered showers and sunny spells. A cool day with temperatures at 8 to 10C in a fresh W to NW wind.
