Showery weather in France will spread eastward on Friday; brightening for Portugal & Spain
Thundery showers continue for Portugal and Spain though the sunny spells in between will increase in frequency and duration as the day progresses. A few isolated showers but mostly hazy sunshine and good bright spells for the Balearics, Corsica and Sardinia. Scattered showers affecting parts of Italy and Greece throughout the day but it should remain mostly dry and bright for western Turkey.
A cloudy day for France with frequent heavy, thundery showers and heavy bursts of rain. These increasingly becoming confined to the southeast. An overcast day too for the Low Countries with the chance of a shower or two. Drier and brighter for Germany, Switzerland, Austria, Poland and the Czech Republic.
A band of showers will ease northward over Denmark throughout the day while there will be some isolated showers for the Baltic States. Mostly bright and dry for Finland and Sweden while southern Norway will see some showery rain.
Showers continuing across northern Spain through Friday though easing as the day goes on. Elsewhere in Iberia, and for the Balearics, it should be a mostly dry and sunny day. Scattered showers will affect Corsica, Sardinia and Italy. These will be most frequent over northern Italy. Greece and Turkey too will see scattered showers on Friday though there will also be a good deal of sunshine around here.
Continuing showery for France on Friday and these showers will spread eastward affecting the Low Countries, Germany, Switzerland, Austria and the Czech Republic. Staying mostly dry, but dull, for Poland, Slovakia and Hungary.
A band of heavy rain will work northward across Denmark through the day while it should be mostly dry and sunny in the Baltics. Showery rain will affect southern Finland while it should remain dry, bright and warm for much of Sweden. Showery for southern Norway through the morning and evening.
