Rain clears the SE overnight with largely dry conditions and clear spells developing across the country, though showers are expected onto western coasts and hills. Turning chilly with frost developing widely in the north. Lows at -2 to 1C across Scotland into northern England, Ireland and Northern Ireland, 3 to 7C elsewhere.
 

Holiday Monday
A colder day for all yet brighter on Monday with a frosty start for some as a ridge of high pressure sits over the country. Most will remain dry with a good deal of sunshine about, though cloudier towards the NW. Highs at chillier 3 to 9C.

 
 
 

Tuesday
A frost first thing to central and eastern areas on Tuesday along with a dry and bright start, before cloud and rain in the west moves east. Expect snow at first over the hills in the north, though mostly rain elsewhere as milder temperatures moves in. Winds will also strengthen. Highs rising to 7 to 12C.
