Bright and breezy, showers in western areas

Broken cloud at first this morning with bright or sunny spells and also some showers. Most showers in western Wales and northwest England, a few passing east through the rest of England before clearing late morning. Further showerts and breezy in western Scotland western Ireland but sunny, dry and breezy in the east of Ireland and eastern Scotland.

This afternoon is breezy for all. Bright with sunny spells, the best in central and eastern areas. Showers for northern and western Scotland as well as northwest England and Northern Ireland. Dry in other areas.

Tonight is breezy in northern England, Scotland and Ireland. Increased cloud and then rain in western Scotland and northwest Ireland, some of it heavy. A few spots of drizzle over west wales and northwest England. Drier for other areas.
