Dry & mild south, cooler north
Outbreaks of rain affecting Northern Ireland, northern counties of Ireland, the Irish Sea and on through parts of northern England and north and west Wales through the morning. Drier further south. Breezy.
The afternoon sees the rain push northwards into Scotland though most rain falling in the west here where it will be heavy as well as across northwest Ireland. Northern England and north Wales still cloudy with patchy lighter rain. Drier and fine with sunny spells further south where it is feeling mild.
A wet night across Scotland with spells of persistent and at times heavy rain. The Borders also will be wet with some patchy rain affecting northern Egnland. Otherwise dry with clear spells and mild.
