Easterly winds pull through persistent spells of rain across east and central Scotland.
What may feel like for many in east and central Scotland a constant stream of rain pulling through on a strong and blustery easterly wind throughout the day. Drier further west. Outbreaks of rain also further south, with rain affecting Northern Ireland, mainly during the morning.
Rain clearing much of Northern Ireland in the afternoon. Still patchy rain across England and Wales with the risk of some heavier bursts through parts.
Rain continues to affect eastern into central regions of Scotland as well as northeast England overnight where it will also continue windy and blustery. Outbreaks of rain affecting northern England into central areas, parts of Wales and Northern Ireland. Drier further south.
