Morning Call - September 29, 2023
Mostly dry
Showers in northwest

Issued: 0530hrs Friday 29th September 2023
Duty forecaster: Garry Nicholson

Breezy, windy in north

Good morning,

A ridge of high pressure will be building from the south during Friday bringing a bright and largely dry day for many but expect a fresh westerly breeze.

A cold front clears eastward away from southeast England early morning with rain soon fading. Sunny spells and broken cloud during the day. Brief showers in the northwest of England and Wales.

Low pressure to the north of Scotland brings strong to gale force winds in the far north. Showers in western Scotland will be more frequent, some heavy.

Today's top temperatures will reach 14 to 19C, highest toward the southeast.

Have a great day.
Garry
