Morning Call - October 02, 2023
Rain develops England & Wales
Warm in southeast

Issued: 0530hrs Monday 2nd October 2023
Duty forecaster: Garry Nicholson

Heavy bursts in southwest and central areas

Good morning,

Overcast skies will greet Monday for many places. Fairly dry early in the day, but rain will develop more widely over England and Wales as the day progresses.

Some locally thundery bursts are possible in places, pushing up from the southwest, but very hit and miss. The far southeast corner may escape dry much of the day. Likewise, Cumbria and the northeast may escape dry.

Showery in western Scotland, but much of central and eastern Scotland will be dry. Northern Ireland stays dry. Some hazy sunshine.

Today's top temperatures 14 to 17C, but locally 22C in the southeast and feeling quite humid.

Have a great day.
Garry
