Snow for Highland Scotland

Merry Christmas,

It's a mild and cloudy day for England and Wales with rain and drizzle, some heavy rain developing from the west.

Driest toward the east and southeast of England, also northeast Scotland. Windy across England and Wales, gusts to gale force near exposed coasts in the southwest.

Rain affects Northern Ireland and central Scotland, whilst snow develops over the Highlands, with rain over lower terrain, but turning to snow to lower elevations in the north later in the day.

Today's top temperatures range from a balmy 13C in southeastern England, to just 3C in Highland Scotland.

Have a great day.
Garry
