Morning Call - December 13, 2023
Breezy, cool start
Better Scotland & Ireland

Issued: 0530hrs Wednesday 13th December 2023
Duty forecaster: Simon Keeling

Breezy and cool with some showers but then drier from the west

Coud and some showers over many parts of England and Wales this morning. Quite a breeze blowing from the north or northeast too, making conditions feel cold. Better in Scotland and Ireland, brighter here with sunny spells although a morning frost for Scotland. A tendency for this drier and brighter air to edge east.

Turning drier for most of England and Wales this afternoon, just a few showers left on eastern coasts. Remaining breezy too, especially in the east and feeling chilly. Increasing cloud in western Scotland and western Ireland later with the winds picking up too. Fair for most areas though with sunny spells.

Cloud and wind as well as some raion pushing eastwards through Scotland and Ireland tonight, reaching northern England, Wales and southwest England byt morning. Drier in Ireland later in the night and dry in the southeast of England too.
