Mixed conditions to start the week then a deep Atlantic low pressure will move in midweek and frequent heavy rain and potentially gale force winds. Low pressure moves east at the weekend when a colder northerly may develop.

Tuesday 31/10/23
Low pressure over England gradually pulls east on Tuesday allowing for an improving day across central and eastern regions of England. Spells of rain affect northeast and north Scotland. Meanwhile, an Atlantic low will progressively bring spells of rain and strengthening winds to Ireland, southwest England and Wales. Highs of 9 to 14C.
 


Wednesday 01/11/23
A cloudy, wet and breezy start for most on Wednesday. Rain will soon clear most by the afternoon with sunny spells and scattered showers behind as a brief, weak ridge builds in. Winds should ease too through the day. By evening, the next deep Atlantic low will move in bringing strengthened winds and rain to southwestern areas. Highs at 8 to 13C.

Thursday 02/11/23
A deep area of low pressure circulating over Ireland on Thursday will bring gale force winds to many. Spells of rain will clear from the west through the day with more rain moving into western areas along with frequent and heavy showers. Many central and eastern areas seeing drier and brighter weather develop. Highs at 8 to 13C.

Friday 03/11/23
The active low pressure system gradually fills on Friday, though the weather will be mixed across the country still. Spells of rain affect north and east Scotland on a persistent easterly wind. Sunny spells and frequent, at times heavy, showers elsewhere. Less windy. Highs at 8 to 12C.

Saturday 04/11/23
Low pressure still circulating over the British Isles on Saturday, though it should be a drier day for many with sunny spells developing. Some showers still about, these mostly towards western and far southern areas with longer spells of rain affecting eastern Scotland. Highs at 8 to 12C.

Sunday 05/11/23
Low pressure moves eastwards on Sunday which will see a colder north to north-easterly wind pull through. Showers, these increaisng falling wintry over higher ground, across north and central Scotland. Many showers affecting coasts also, frequent in the east. Bright with sunny spells elsewhere. Highs at 7 to 11C.
