Low pressure dominant with rain and showers

Staying unsettled over the coming days as low pressure brings frequent spells of rain, some of it heavy. Temperatures generally near average for now, before turning colder into next week for a brief time.

Low pressure sits just to the west of Ireland on Saturday. What will be a largely dry morning will soon see showers pushing in across particularly southern and western areas. Further showers or rain pulling in on an easterly wind flow across Scotland. Tops at 10C in northern Scotland, 15C in southern England.
 

Sunday 29/10/23
A cloudy and wet day through southern Scotland and northern England on Sunday as a trailing front sits here. Showers affecting many southern and western coasts, otherwise largely dry. Highs at 8 to 14C.

Monday 30/10/23
A cold start in the north on Monday. A dry day for most across Scotland and northern England. Cloud wil thicken and spells of rain will move in across southern England and Wales as the day progresses. Tops of 8 to 13C.

Tuesday 31/10/23
A cloudy and damp start to SE England on Tuesday before clearing here as low pressure moves out of the way. A cold start for many but a mainly dry day as there is a brief lull in the unsettled weather pattern. Tops of 8 to 14C.

Wednesday 01/11/23
A largely dry morning on Wednesday before rain moves in from the southwest during the afternoon. A milder southerly wind flow strengthens in the west. Tops of 10 to 14C.

Thursday 02/11/23
Thursday is a more unsettled day with outbreaks of rain clearing from western areas. A strengthened southerly wind. Highs at 10 to 15C.
