Thursday 2/11/23 Storm Ciaran will be crossing the British Isles on Thursday. This brings severe gales and heavy rain. Gusts in excess of 60mph are likely which is strong enough to cause some damage to trees and buildings as well as bringing disruption to transport. Flooding is possible in some areas although it is difficult to see where the worst of this will be right now. Highs at an irrelevant 9 to 12C.
Friday 3/11/23 Low pressure dominates again on Friday as the remnants of Storm Ciaran fade. There will be some heavy showers but also sunny spells, best in the west. More persistent rain could affect northern and eastern areas. Highs at 8 to 12C.
Saturday 4/11/23 Pressure stays low on Saturday with a further more vigorous low affecting southern areas. This could bring some heavy rain and further flooding to central and southern England with severe gales in the Channel. Brighter with heavy showers and feeling colder for other areas. Snow over the hills of Scotland. Highs at 8 to 10C.
Sunday 5/11/23 Low pressure off eastern coasts of the country. A mix of sunshine and showers, most to the north and west where they could be heavy. Brighter east and south. Feeling cool at 8 to 11C.
