Thursday 20/10/23 A mostly cloudy day for many under the influence of low pressure to the southwest. A band of rain tracks across Northern England and Southern Scotland, whilst much of England, Wales and Ireland will be cloudy with some light rain or drizzle possible here. Feeling breezy for most, especially in western parts. Temperatures around or possibly slightly above average, cooler in the north. 8 to 15C for most.
Friday 21/10/23 Some spells of blustery rain in the Midlands, Wales and the Southwest during the morning with some heavier bursts too, pushing across Eastern England later in the day. Some rain moving into parts of Ireland and Western Scotland later. Limited brighter spells, possibly some glimpses of sunshine in western Scotland during the afternoon. 9 to 15C again North to South.
Saturday 22/10/23 Low confidence at this stage but away from Western Ireland a mostly dry day for much of Scotland, England and Wales. Once again, west England and Scotland may see occasional brighter spells during the afternoon but otherwise a cloudy and mild day. Rain affecting eastern coasts. Small chance of a feature increasing precipitation to Southern England during the afternoon. 8 to 14C expected.
Sunday 23/10/23 A cloudy day with some light rain possible across some areas. Some brighter spells once more in Scotland, especially in the west during the afternoon. 9 to 15C for most.
Monday 24/10/23 Some light rain and showers possible in the west, mostly a drier day across England and Wales with a few sunny spells possible in the afternoon. A drier day across Scotland too. Temperatures 8 to 15C.
Tuesday 25/10/23 Current indications suggest some rain moving into Wales and Southern Ireland during Tuesday, with drier conditions for Northern parts albeit with plenty of cloud. Highs of 9 to 15C.
