Sunday 22/10/23 A drier day on Sunday, though still expect showery rain to affect northern and eastern areas of Scotland as low pressure sits close by. Some patchy light rain and drizzle in places further south and west too but also developing sunny spells. Highs at 10 to 15C.
Monday 23/10/23 High pressure continues to ridge in on Monday with most staying dry with sunny spells. Low pressure moving through the Channel could bring some spells of rain to southern counties. Highs of 10 to 15C.
Tuesday 24/10/23 Patchy rain across England and Wales on Tuesday as the low pressure moves in here. Drier further north and west where the best of the sunny spells are expected. Cold in the north with highs here only around 8 or 9C, milder further south at 15 or 16C.
Wednesday 25/10/23 Outbreaks of rain in the north and east today as low pressure moves out towards the near continent. Drier elsewhere though cloud is likely to build in the far west ahead of the next Atlantic low pressure. Highs at 9 to 16C.
Thursday 26/10/23 Outbreaks of rain still affecting parts of England and Wales on Thursday, though it will be patchy and not everywhere will be wet. Possible persistent light rain and drizzle with low cloud and murk along eastern coasts of the UK. Highs at 8 to 15.
Friday 27/10/23 Western areas look wetter on Friday though low confidence in the models for later in the week, though mixed conditions are to be expected. Highs at 9 to 15C.
