Sunday 29/10/23 A cloudy and wet day through southern Scotland, northern England and Northern Ireland on Sunday as a trailing front brings persistent spells of rain through here. Showers affecting many southern and western coasts, otherwise largely dry with sunny spells. Highs at 8 to 14C.
Monday 30/10/23 A cold start in the north on Monday. A dry day for most across Scotland and northern England. Cloud will thicken and outbreaks of rain will move in across southern England and Wales as the day progresses. Tops of 8 to 13C.
Tuesday 31/10/23 A cloudy and damp start to southern areas on Tuesday before gradually brightening up. A cold start further north and a mainly dry day as there is a brief lull in the unsettled weather pattern. Rain moves in overnight. Tops of 8 to 14C.
Wednesday 01/11/23 Wednesday is an unsettled day with outbreaks of rain tracking northwards up the country, falling heavy and persistent for some for a time, before clearing much of central and southern England. The far north of Scotland staying dry. Tops of 10 to 14C.
Thursday 02/11/23 Thursday sees an area of low pressure move over the country. Gale force winds are expected with outbreaks of rain in the north and west. Much of central and southern areas looking to stay dry and feeling reasonably mild. Highs at 9 or 10C in the north, up to 16C further south.
Friday 03/11/23 Friday is still mixed to unsettled. Winds staying strong in the north and west though much eased compared with yesterday. Showery rain in places further north and west, otherwise a largely dry and bright day with plenty of sunny spells. Feeling cooler with highs at 8 to 13C.
