A frosty start then a cold day with sunshine
It's a cold morning across most of England and Wales where a widespread frost has hit many areas. There are some fog patches to, but these will be clearing away to leave the day dry with some good spells of sunshine.
More cloud is afecting Scotland and the west of Ireland. This is going to be persisting through the day. Eastern parts of Scotland and Ireland should be dry and bright with good spells of sunshine here.
