Dry for all; some freezing fog in north
Good morning,
It's a very cold start across northern Britain, with widespread frost and some freezing fog patches.
It will stay dry for all, and there's plenty of sunshine around today, generally best in western parts, although a layer of low cloud may affect central and eastern regions at times.
A brisk north-easterly breeze affects southern regions, whilst winds are very light in the north.
Today's top temperatures will reach 5 to 7C in the south, up to 8 or 9C in the south. Locally it may stay closer to freezing should fog linger in Scotland.
Have a great day. Garry
