Morning Call - November 05, 2016
Cold northerly winds
Sunshine & wintry showers

Dropping close to freezing this evening

Good morning,

A cold weekend for all of Britain and Ireland with brisk northerly winds, locally gusting gale force near exposed coasts in the east & north-east.

Many places will be dry with bright sunshine today, best in central and southern counties. Showers will be draped around coasts in the north, east & far west. Some hail, or snow over the hills in the north.

Today's temperatures will struggle to do better than 7 or 8C for most places, perhaps 10C in the far south, but feeling closer to freezing in the wind.

It will quickly drop to between 2 and 5C this evening, so grab the thermal layers if you're heading out to watch the fireworks!

Sunday will be a similar cold day with squally showers, most frequent in the east - some hail and possible thunder near the coast.

Have a great weekend.
Garry
