Rain to the north, dry in the south after morning fog clears
Good morning,
A cold front is clearing southern England through this morning and early afternoon introducing, as its name suggests, much cooler weather to all parts of the UK and Ireland. The front is only weak and so is likely to be little more than a band of cloud over southern England, although it may produce an odd spot of drizzle to the east.
Some showers in northern and eastern Scotland, but for all other areas the day is likely to be bright with sunny spells. The best of the sunshine is always going to be to the west, although even here there will be a fair amount of cloud around.
