Showers N Scotland, also NW Wales

Good morning,

Feeling cool for all today as a north-westerly breeze affects the country. However, most places will stay dry with plenty of sunshine.

Showers will affect northern Scotland, falling as snow over the mountains, and may be frequent over a few hours. Local bands of showers may affect coastal areas in the east & west of Britain.

Starting chilly, some rural areas near or just below freezing at dawn. Today's top temperatures will be just 8 or 9C in the north, 10C Midlands & south, locally 12C around coasts in the south-west.

Have a great day.
Garry
