Feeling cool, blustery winds near coasts

Good morning,

A mixed day across the country today. There will be plenty of dry and bright weather, but also areas of showery rain, some locally heavy and persistent bursts.

Clusters of showers will affect northern & western parts of Scotland and Ireland, also spreading inland from Irish Sea coasts of England & Wales. A cold front over the English Channel brings frequent rain to the far south-east.

Elsewhere, central, east & north-eastern regions, plus the far south-west, will stay often dry, with rare showers, and occasional sunshine.

Variable winds, fairly light inland, but gusty around showers, and generally blustery around coasts.

Feeling cool, today's best temperatures reaching 11 or 12C in the south, but most places will be around 8 to 10C.

Have a great day.
Garry
