Patchy rain develops west & south-west
Good morning,
Most of England and Wales will have a dry and bright day. Sunshine turning hazy and weakening as cloud thickens through the day from the west & north.
Fronts across the north bring cloud and rain to Scotland & Northern Ireland, most persistent over the West Highlands. Patchy rain will gradually extend to western regions of England & Wales into the afternoon and evening.
Light winds for southern areas today, but a south-westerly breeze affects the north & west. After a cold and frosty start, temperatures will reach highs of 9 to 12C across the country. Not as cold tonight for most beneath generally cloudier skies.
Have a great day. Garry
