Frosty start in Scotland, cloudier to the south
Good morning,
It's a cloudy start to the day over much of England and Wales. The remnants of fronts remain close by and it's these that are still producing a few spots of rain over the hills of northern England and Wales. There's another area of showery rain afecting the far southeast of England too. Little change is expected through the day in England and Wales; what you see is pretty much what you get.
Frostier weather in Scotland and the far north of England and Ireland. Much brighter here with good spells of sunshine, although there will be some morning mist and fog patches. These clearing away to leave a mostly fair day. Some cloud could affect western coasts of Scotland.
