Morning Call - January 16, 2016
Winter sunshine
A few showers east coast

Drizzle, sleet & light snow north-west

Good morning,

A cold day across the country today, although a plenty of sunshine for many. Eastern England keeps a brisk northerly wind, but lighter winds elsewhere.

A scattering of wintry showers will affect the east coast of England through today. Thicker cloud toward the north-west brings patchy rain or sleet to western Scotland and Northern Ireland into the afternoon, with snow over the hills.

Patchy sleet and light snow spreads to north-west England and north Wales by the evening, likely to give a further dusting to the Pennines and Snowdonia, although largely rain in coastal areas. Turning icy.

Today's temperatures will range from 2C in northern Britain, 4C Midlands & Wales, or 6C in southern England.

Have a great day.
Garry
