Staying wet in eastern Scotland and northeast England

Good morning,

It's a wet one over eastern Scotland and northeast England this morning. You'll certainly need your brollies, and most likely wellies here as the rain continues through the morning. Rain could be heavy at times in eastern parts of of North York Moors as well as southeast Scotland.

Elsewhere it is drier although rather cloudy and chilly. A few showers in west and these continue this afternoon. The highest shower risk in western Wales and southwest England where they will be heavy at times. Little changes through this afternoon, just a few showers here and there but dry for many.

More rain in northeast England and southeast Scotland tonight, but drier in other areas with the cloud being broken. The risk of a touch of frost here and there.
