Morning Call - January 20, 2016
Cold again
Some winter sunshine

Issued: 0530hrs Wednesday 20th January 2016
Duty forecaster: Garry Nicholson

Risk locally stubborn freezing fog

Good morning,

Another bitterly cold start to the day, with widespread frost and risk of ice. Some freezing fog patches may be locally slow to clear.

A good deal of winter sunshine for central and southern England, also Wales, but generally murky skies toward northern Britain. Staying dry overall, perhaps light sleet or a snow flurry over hills in north.

Light winds again tonight may allow freezing fog to reform widely. Today's top temperatures will only slowly rise to 3 to 5C for most, 7 or 8C in the south-west.

Have a great day.
Garry
