Dry south & east
Rain & hill snow north

Ice risk in north; foggy east

Good morning,

Some stubborn, locally dense fog across eastern counties this morning. Sunshine breaking through for some, whilst western Britain & Ireland see a lot of cloud today.

Outbreaks of drizzly rain become persistent across western regions of Wales, northern England & Scotland, falling as snow for a time on the hills, and giving a risk of ice where rain falls onto cold surfaces.

Temperatures will become milder from the south-west, highs of 8C, whilst the east and north holds on to colder air today, particularly where fog lingers, just 2 to 5C.

Have a great day.
Garry
