Mild, dry east and south, some patchy rain in west
Good morning,
Some sunshine to start this morning over much of central and eastern England. Feeling very mild too. Cloudier skies in most of Scotland, although there could be some sunshine in the east at first.
Patchy rain reaching western Scotland and western Wales during the morning, with cloud and some outbreaks of rain in Ireland too. The cloud edging eastwards as the morning progresses, although the sunshine may hold on in the far east until this afternoon.
Then becoming damp across northwest England, western Wales and much of Scotland through this afternoon. Drier across more eastern and southern areas, some more persistent rain in western Scotland.
