Morning Call - January 22, 2016
Rain for a few hours
Brightening up from west

Issued: 0530hrs Friday 22nd January 2016
Duty forecaster: Garry Nicholson

Big change to milder temperatures

Good morning,

It's a wet start to the day for much of Britain, with rain spreading eastwards through the morning.

Rain will clear quickly from the west, allowing brighter skies and some sunshine to develop. Most of the country becomes dry through the afternoon as rain moves away into the North Sea.

Blustery winds for a time, but milder air arrives. Top temperatures today at 7C in the east, rising to 10C in central and western parts.

A much milder weekend on the way, with sunshine for England & Wales on Saturday, then cloudy for most on Sunday.

Have a great day.
Garry
