Sunday
A mostly dry and bright start for all with some sunny spells over the eat, but soon thick cloud arrives from northwest with frequent showers especially over the northern and western areas. A longer spell of rain is expected over Scotland and northern parts of Ireland in the afternoon , with some snow over the Highlands. Showers will gradually spread south over northern England and north Wales later in the afternoon. Further south mostly dry. Strengthening winds, and feeling cooler than of late with maximum temperatures at 10C in north, and 14C in south.


Sunday Night
A showery evening and night for most areas away from southeast England where it will remain dry. Showers will be frequent in north and west, some on the heavy side with a rumble of thunder possible. These will merge into a longer spell of rain overnight moving southeast. Expect wintriness over high ground in north. Minimum temperatures at 5C in north, and 8C in south.
 


Monday
A rather cloudy start to the day with a longer spell of rain spreading southeast and clearing early in the afternoon. Showers following on the back, frequent in north and west, wintry over the Highlands with a rumble of thunder. Through the evening showers will becoming less in number and lighter, with somewhat conditions spreading east overnight into Tuesday. A brisk northwesterly wind will keep the temperature at 9C in north, and 12C in south.


Tuesday
High pressure will gradually push in from the west, offering generally dry conditions for Ireland though rather cloudy. Further east the day starts showery, but showers less in number through the day. Maximum temperatures at high single figures for most. Patchy frost overnight in north.
