Friday
The day starts with heavy rain and snow for Scotland, even down to low level as well as some heavy rain for southern England. Through the day expect more rain, this time more focused over western Scotland, northern and western parts of Ireland. Elsewhere it will be drier and possibly brighter. A windy day with gales in exposure with maximum temperatures at 4C over Scotland, but 12-14C elsewhere.


Friday Night
While rain will gradually clear from the north in the evening, more thick cloud, rain and strong winds will arrive from the south, gradually spreading north through the night, with rain being heavy over Southern Ireland, Wales and Southwest England. A mild night for most with minimum temperatures at 10C in north, and 14C in south.
 


Saturday
Another cloudy day along with heavy rain in places and strong winds with gales in exposure. Becoming drier and brighter from the south through the day, with rain becoming confined in the afternoon mostly over Ireland, where frequent heavy showers are expected. Temperatures in the afternoon at 10C in north, and 16C in south.
 


Sunday
A windy day with gales in northwestern exposure along with frequent showers, some of them heavy and possibly thundery over western Scotland, northwestern Ireland, northwest England and Wales. Elsewhere scattered showers along with bright or sunny spells, the best of these over the southeast. Maximum temperatures at 10C in north and 15C in south. Frost overnight over Scotland.
