Cloudy to start across Scotland with outbreaks of rain, heavy and prolonged Aryshire, Argyll across Highland to Borders through the morning with sunshine and blustery showers following 6-8C generally. Cloudy to start across Wales into Lancashire and later Yorkshire with rain becoming patchy during the afternoon, 8-10C. Eastern England to midlands and all of rest of England mainly dry though generally cloudy morning, cloud breaking midlands and eastwards during the afternoon 12 to 14C Yorkshire to Kent.
Thursday Night Remaining cloudy overnight rain continuing across Scotland and NW England, rain will be heavy through much of central and eastern Scotland with further area of heavy ran across Antrim to Dumfries and Galloway, running into Cumbria and fringing into north Wales. Remainder of England and Wales cloudy through the evening and staying dry, continuing dry overnight with cloud breaking with clear spells.
Friday 15 March Sunshine and showers across Scotland and into northern England, showers often merging to give a longer period of rain Wales and SW England to start, showers becoming widespread across remainder of England during the day with sunshine where cloud breaks. Saturday 16 March DRy and generally cloudy to start with some sunshine for midlands and eastern England through the morning. Rain into Scotland Wales and SW England through the morning will move steadily eastwards across midlands during the afternoon and into eastern England by evening, winds freshening SW during the day, 6C across Scotland and northern England, 10C midlands southwards.
