Friday It will be a brighter day with a few showers, at first over coastal areas, but as we move through the morning showers will develop inland too. Some of the showers will be on the heavy side with a rumble of thunder especially for Ireland, Wales and northern/central England. A breezy day with maximum temperatures at 9C in north, and 12C in south. Frost developing overnight over Scotland.
Friday Night Through the evening expect most showers to die away but a few will remain over coastal areas in west, maybe a longer spell of rain over western counties of Ireland. Elsewhere long clear spells with minimum temperatures at 5C in north and 7C in south.
Saturday Another bright day for most with sunny spells and a few morning showers. Showers will develop more widely in the afternoon over Ireland where there is a risk of heavy and thundery showers. Elsewhere it will remain fairly dry for most of the day Winds will be lighter than of late with temperatures in the afternoon rising to around 10C in north and 14C in south. Frost overnight over Scotland away from the coast.
Sunday A mostly dry and bright day for England, Wales and Scotland with long sunny spells, best of the sunshine over Scotlands. Further west over Ireland it will be cloudier with outbreaks of rain, this heavier over southern counties. East-southeast winds with maximum temperatures at 10C in north and 14C in south. Patchy frost overnight over Scotland.
