Monday
The day will start fairly cloudy across most parts, with a few showers over eastern Scotland and western Ireland. There is a possibility for some light rain over southeast England early in the morning, but this will soon clear. Occasional showers will persist over coastal areas through the day, but we will see some bright or sunny spells developing away from coast over England and Wales later in the morning and in the afternoon. Maximum temperatures at 8C in north, and 10C in south.


Monday Night
A few showers over eastern coastal areas in the evening. Thick cloud will arrive over Ireland along with a band of rain reaching the western counties by midnight, and gradually spreading east overnight into Tuesday, and reaching Wales and western parts of England by the early hours. Temperatures will drop to 3-4C in north with isolated patches of frost in sheltered areas, and 6-7C in south


Tuesday
A cloudy but dry start for the east. Further west cloudy with outbreaks of rain, this heavy over western Ireland and Wales. Thick cloud and rain will spread east through the morning across all parts, and being heavy over Lake and Peak Districts as well as the Borders. Further south and east, rain will be more light and patchy. Rain becoming confined over Ireland and Scotland in the evening, and more persistent too. Breezy with temperatures rising to 8C in north, but 12C in south.


Wednesday
Scotland, Ireland and Northwest England will see a generally wet day, with persistent rain, this being heavy at times especially over southwestern counties of Ireland, southern Scotland and over high ground in Northwest England. Further south it will be a cloudy and breezy day but mostly dry. Some spot of rain or drizzle cannot be excluded thought. Over far north of Scotland, expect showers and bright spells. Temperatures on the rise, with the maximum at 12C in north, and 15C in south.
