Cloudy in the evening with some rain and hill snow for southern and eastern Ireland, Wales and northern parts of England. Southern and eastern Scotland will see a period of sleet or wet snow even down to low levels, but with slushy accumulations. Frost developing overnight away from the southeast, with a risk of icy surfaces. Minimum temperatures at -2C in places.
 

Saturday
It will be a rather showery day for most, with showers being more heavy in places. Showers will be wintry over high ground, but also down to lower levels over Scotland, Ireland and northern England in the morning but with temporary slushy accumulations only. Breezy over coastal areas. Frost overnight away from the southwest. Temperatures in the afternoon at 5C in north, but 7C in south.

Sunday
Sunday will see a mix of sunny spells and scattered showers. Shower will be wintry even down to low levels in the north. It will become drier in the evening with most showers dying away. Widespread frost overnight. Breezy in west, with temperatures in the afternoon at 6C in north and 10C in south.
