Sunday
The day starts mostly dry and bright over England, Wales and Scotland with some sunny periods, the longer over Scotland. It will become cloudier in the afternoon. Over Ireland expect cloudy skies and outbreaks of rain through the day. Maximum temperatures at 12C in north, and 14C in south.
 


Sunday Night
Through the early evening expect thickening cloud over southern England with a longer spell of rain soon arriving. This area of rain will gradually push north through the rest of the evening and overnight. Cloudy with outbreaks over Ireland, with rain possibly heavy over the southern parts for a time. Minimum temperatures at 5-7C across most parts, but locally down to 1c over Scotland with patchy frost.


Monday
Over Ireland, Wales, central and northern England the day starts cloudy and wet with outbreaks of rain. Rain will move north over Scotland through the morning and the afternoon, with drier weather following for most along with sunny spells. Some further rain is possible for Southern Ireland and southwestern England later. Best of the drier and sunnier weather over the Northern Isles. Temperatures will rise up to 10C in north, and 12C.


Tuesday
A mostly dry and bright start to the day with plenty of sunny spells. Thicker cloud will arrive later in the morning over Ireland and southern England with outbreaks of rain and strengthening winds. This is expected to slowly move north-northeast through the evening. Temperatures in the afternoon at around 9C in north, but 12C in south.
