Monday
A scattered of showers this morning over northern and central England. Otherwise the week starts dry with the best sunshine in the north and west. Cloud will be increasing from the west bringing rain into Ireland this afternoon. This then spills east reaching western Scotland and northwest Wales by evening. Drier for other areas with sunny spells, although that cloud continues to increase. Becoming windy in Ireland later too. Highs at 11 to 15C.


Monday Night
Rain tonight in much of Scotland and Ireland. The rain reaching northern England, western Wales and western England with plenty of mist and low cloud over western and southern hills and coasts too. Patchy rain into the Midlands, southern and eastern England by morning. Rain may become heavy in western Scotland with a risk of flooding. Becoming breezy for all too with local gales in the west. Lows near 4 to 8C.


Tuesday
Low pressure in north of Scotland on Tuesday. Rain and showers in northwest and northern Scotland, heavy at times. Scattered showers over western coasts and hills of Ireland and northwest England. Drier for other areas, cloudier in the south. Some more rain arrives along southern coasts of England later in the day with mist and fog on the coasts too. Staying brighter in Scotland and apart from showers in the west, drier here too. Tops at 10 to 15C.


Wednesday
Low pressure over England and Wales on Wednesday bringing a wet day for some. Most rain is likely in more northern and western areas. It may be that East Anglia, parts of the Midlands and southeast England become warm, and although plenty of cloud there could be some bright spells too. Showers may affect eastern Scotland whilst the west is dry. It is likely to be drier too in Ireland. Light winds with tops of 17C in central and southern England, a cooler 8 to 10C elsewhere.
