A mild and breezy morning for much of England and Wales. Heavy showers in the south. Periods of rain for northern England and north Wales. Brighter in Scotland although some showers here. This afternoon sees rain into the Midlands, eastern Wales and East Anglia. Some showers in southern England but sunny spells too. Showers for northern England and southern Scotland but turning brighter and drier as well as cooler in western Scotland, west wales and Ireland. Highs at 6C in northern Scotland, 14C in central and eastern England.


Friday Night
Rain and showers clearing eastern England overnight. Then becoming dry with clear spells. Cloud increasing through Ireland and southwest England later, bringing some rain here. Lows at 2 to 6C.

 
 
 


Saturday
Sunshine to start Saturday morning in the east of England together with the north and east of Scotland. Increasing cloud in western areas will bring rain to Ireland, west and south Wales together with southwest England. Low cloud over coasts in the west and south too. The afternoon sees the rain turning heavier in Ireland with more rain, drizzle and mist over western and central England and Wales as well as southwest Scotland. By evening rain is into northern England with lots of mist, murk and drizzle for England and Wales and more rain in Ireland. Highs at 8C in northern Scotland, 13C in southwest England.


Sunday
Rain may be affecting the far southeast of England for much of the day on Sunday. Elsewhere it is a brighter day with sunny spells, although always more cloud in eastern England. Scattered showers over western coasts and hills, a risk of some heavier showers in Ireland and southern Scotland. Drier for central and northern Scotland as a broad southwest flow covers the country. Highs near 10 to 15C.
