Cloudy to start across Scotland with outbreaks of rain, heavy and prolonged Aryshire, Argyll across Highland to Borders through the morning with sunshine and blustery showers following 6-8C generally. Cloudy to start across Wales into Lancashire and later Yorkshire with rain becoming patch during the afternoon, 8-10C. Eastern England to midlands and all of rest of England mainly dry though generally cloudy morning, cloud breaking sw England and midlands duringthe afternoon 12 to 14C Cheshire to Somerset, midlands to Yorkshire to kent. Remaining cloudy with rain continuing across N.Ireland to southern Scotland and across Cumbria to Northumberland, though most prolonged in the west. Remaing windy overnight with a fresh SW wind, 10C.
