Wednesday 06 March Dry to start with patchy ground and air frost Powys, Cheshire to Somerset, along with central Highland. Elsewhere brocken cloud with sunny spells through the morning 2 to 4C to start. Cloudy with coastal drizzle for Northumberland, cloudy though dry along North Sea coasts, outbreaks of rain running along Sussex to Kent coast thrugh the morning. Remaining cloudy during the morning though dry with some sunshine across Scotland, though Western Isles cloud more broken, into Northumberland, Yorkshire southwards to Buckinghamshire to Kent 6 to 8C generally during the afternoon. Scattered cloud and sunshine Lancashire, Powys, Wiltshire to Hampshire 8 to 10C through the afternoon.

Remaining dry through the evening for most with variable cloud cover overninght, cloud likely most persistent Highland to Fife 4C overnight, central Highland some clear skies overnight patchy ground and air frost -1C. Variable cloud overnight with patchy ground and air frost for Welsh Borders, some mist and shllow fog in valleys of Yorkshire, Wiltshire and Dorset close to 0C.

Any overnight mist, shallow fog and patchy ground and air frost wil clear by mid-morning with a dry and generally sunny day especially midlands and southern England 8-10C. Remaining generally cloudy Northumberland to Yorkshire where cloud will persist into the afternoon 6C here. Dry clear overnight some mist and shallow fog. Cloudy though Nrthumberland to Tayside.
