Rain in north
Heavy showers south

Issued: 0530hrs Monday 1st April 2024

Mild south, cooler north

Good morning,

A mixed picture across the British Isles this Easter Monday, with rain for some, brighter conditions for others. Best of bright and dry weather for western Scotland.

There's wet weather across northern England today, fairly persistent with low cloud and feeling cool too. Rain fades in north Wales, but heavy showers break out for south and mid Wales into the afternoon.

Showery rain across southern counties of England too, some heavy bursts drifting into the south Midlands and southeastern counties by afternoon.

Today's top temperatures ranging from 7 to 10C in the north, coolest for northern England in rain, up to 13 to 15C in central, south and eastern England.

Have a great day.
Garry
