A mostly dry and bright start to the day with sunshine over Ireland, Wales, and most of England away from the east coast. Cloudier for Scotland with some rain for the northeast. A few afternoon showers are possible over Wales, otherwise the dry conditions will continue for most. Temperatures in the afternoon at around 10-12 for England, Wales and east Scotland but rising to 14-16C elsewhere.

Ireland, western Scotland, central and southern England will remain dry in the evening and overnight into Monday. Elsewhere expect thicker cloud to arrive from the north and give a period of light rain, possibly heavy for a time over northeast Scotland, and Wales later. Minimum temperatures at around 4-6C across most parts, but possible dropping to -1C over southeast England.
