Sunday A cloudy morning over most areas. Rain in Ireland and western Scotland, mostly light at first but then becoming heavier across most of Ireland and Scotland, heaviest in the west. Still plenty of cloud in central and southern areas, the cloud breaking here to allow some brighter spells to come through. Probably drizzly in northwest England and parts of north Wales, some cloud shrouding hills. Highs at 24C in southeast England and eastern Scotland, 20C in southern Ireland and 18C in west Wales and western Scotland.
Sunday Night A wet night to come across much of Scotland and Ireland, some of the rain heavy, especially in the west. A few spots of rain in northern England, but this fading quickly. Then mostly dry for England and Wales, cloudier in the west although some clear skies develop inland. Lows at 10 to 14C.
Monday Low pressure northwest of Scotland with fronts passing east. These bring lots of cloud. A wet morning in Scotland with heavy rain at times, further rain in eastern Ireland. Drier for England and Wales with sunny spells, most in the east. Turning drier in western Ireland. This afternoon sees the rain passing through northern England and Wales, reaching southwest England and the western Midlands later. Drier and brighter in central and western Scotland and Ireland. Remaining fair in the eastern Midlands, East Anglia, southeast and southern England. Highs at 27C in East Anglia, 22C in Ireland and eastern Scotland, 17C in western Scotland.
Tuesday A weak cold front becoming slow moving through northeast England, the Midlands and southern England on Tuesday. A band of cloud and showery rain associated with the front, slowly fading eastwards. Brighter and drier in northern and western areas with sunny spells. Scattered showers in western Ireland and western Scotland. Another very warm day in the east with highs at 27C, 19C in the west.
