High pressure extends over most parts through the day. However, expect rather cloudy skies along with fresh winds and some showers over southeastern England. Best of the sunshine over Ireland and western Scotland. Maximum temperatures at 19C in north and 22C in south.
 

Sunday
High pressure continues to give settled conditions over most parts away from Ireland, where more cloud and some rain is expected from late afternoon. Tops of 17C in north and 23C in south.
