Thursday
A much colder day for all. Some cloud at first in the far southeast, otherwise plenty of sunshine and a widespread morning frost. Some more cloud affecting northern Scotland with a few snow showers here. This afternoon sees lots of sunshine for most of the British Isles. However, always more cloud in northern Scotland with a few snow showers on coasts. A few snow showers can't be ruled out in northern and west Wales either. Highs at 2 to 4C.


Thursday Night
Frost will be widespread overnight, severe in places. Broken cloud through Scotland and northern England with some cloud around the northern and western coasts of Ireland. Scattered snow showers in the north and west too. Lows at 0 to -3C.

 
 
 


Friday
The cold flow persists through Friday. A widespread frost at first. Then mostly dry with god spells of sunshine, best in central and eastern areas. Always more cloud north and west, although this being broken. A few snow showers around the north and west coasts too. Cloud increases later in southern Ireland, southern Wales and southwest England. Highs at 2 to 5C.
 


Saturday
Cold again on Saturday. Increasing cloud across England, Wales and Ireland through Saturday as low pressure develops southwest of Ireland. Brighter in Scotland with sunny spells, best in the east of Scotland. Scatter showers affecting western and northern areas of Scotland. A few spots of rain over northwest England. Generally dry elsewhere. Highs at a cold 1 to 4C.
