Heavy rain over north England and southern Scotland in the morning will quickly clear to the northeast. Drier conditions with sunny spells are expected later in the day, with scattered showers these more frequent and heavy in west and northwest. Easing winds. Temperatures will rise up to 16C in north and 22C in south.
 

Friday Night
Frequent and possibly heavy showers over western Ireland and western Scotland in the evening, with thick cloud over southern England arriving overnight with some rain. Elsewhere drier. Minimum temperatures at 10C in north, and 14C in south.

 
 
 

Saturday
A bright morning with showers in west and north. Showers becoming more frequent in the afternoon and extending further east mostly over Scotland. Over central and southern parts the day starts cloudy with patchy rain, perhaps a period of heavy rain for southeast England in the afternoon. Tops of 15C in north and 21C in south.
 

Sunday
Increasingly cloudy through the morning with some showers or longer spells of rain, these mostly in western areas. Rain will persist over northwest Scotland and northwest England through the evening. Best of the drier and brighter conditions over the east. Maximums of 15C in north, and 20C in south.
