Pleasant southeast
Wet northwest

Monday
A bright and sunny start to the day in central, southeast, and eastern England, but feeling humid across Ireland, Scotland, and northwest England. Rain and showers in Ireland and western Scotland through most of the morning and into the afternoon. Turning heavier and spreading to southwest England, Wales, across Scotland, and western coasts of England as the day progresses. Staying dry and fine in southeast England, with high cloud building in the afternoon, turning hazy. Feeling warm and humid for most, with temperature highs of 24C in the southeast, and 13C in the northwest.

Monday Night
In the evening, the rain turns heavier and spreads further inland across western England and Scotland. Cloud builds up overnight ahead of an approaching warm front in the southeast, and then a band of rain will follow, turning heavy at times. Blustery southwesterly winds, strongest around coasts in the south and east. A humid night, with temperature lows of 14C in the south, and 11C in the north.

Tueasday
The band of rain from Monday night will continue to affect southeast England into Tuesday morning. A spell of rain too across central England, turning into lively showers as the day progresses, turning heavy at times, and perhaps with a rumble of thunder in the Midlands and eastern England. Rain and showers across northwest England, Scotland, and Ireland, and along western coasts, some heavy bursts mixed in. Some sunny spells once the showers clear in central, eastern, and southern England into the afternoon. Feeling much fresher once the rain has cleared, with temperature highs of 24C in the southeast, and 13C in the northwest.

Wednesday
High pressure builds in from the south on Wednesday, giving a fine and pleasant day for many, particularly in the southeast. A breezier day too, especially in the north. Some light rain and drizzle along the western coast of Ireland and Scotland in the morning, and feeling damp here too with low cloud. Cloud building and slightly heavier rain into the afternoon in western Scotland and in Northern Ireland, affecting some northwestern regions in England too. Staying dry and fair elsewhere, with temperature highs of 21C in the south, and 14C in the north.
