A very warm, humid morning for many to start the day. There will be spells of sunshine for many, although always more cloud in western Scotland and Ireland. It stays fair for this afternoon too and become very warm, even hot for many. Aways more cloud in Ireland and Scotland with some drizzle affeting southern and western coasts of Ireland later. Feeling increasingly humid. Highs at 29C in southern England, 23C in Ireland, 16C in northern Scotland.

Sunday Night
A humid night across many areas but especially southern and eastern England. Thundery rain in Ireland and western Scotland with winds increasing to gale force in western Scotland. The rain may be locally torrential in Northern Ireland and later in western Scotland. Tending to be staying dry with some clear spells of much of Wales, except the far west, and central and southern England. Lows at 14 to 19C.

Monday
A cold front passing east through the country on Monday bringing some heavy, thundery bursts of rain to Scotland and parts of northwest England. Murky, misty conditions with lots of cloud on hills here too. Drier and hot in eastern England, although a scattered storm here too. Fresher and brighter weather moving through Ireland and then slowly into the west of Scotland, Wales, southern and western England. Drier here too as rain clears eastern Scotland early in the afternoon. Highs of 33C in East Anglia and southeast England, widely 25 to 28C, but 19C in northeast Scotland, 22C in Ireland and 18C in the cloudier central and eastern areas of Scotland.

Tuesday
A bright day on Tuesday with fronts afecting the west of the British isles. Coud and some outbreaks of showery rain over western parts of Wales, England and Scotland as well as some showery rain in Ireland. Plenty of low cloud and mist affecting western and southwestern coasts and hills. Tending to be brighter in central and eastern areas with sunny spells. The risk of some thundery rai in the east overnight. Highs at 23 to 28C in England and eastern Wales, 21C in Ireland and the east of Scotland, 16C in western Scotland.
