Showers contining overnight across Scotland, clearing skies elsehwere patchy frost overnight.

Sunshine and showers for remainder of England and Wales continuing windy with fresh SW wind 6-8C Showers may merge to give a longer spell of rain for North Wales, cheshire to Cumbria into Dumfries and from Hampshire to Kent, many central areas staying mainly dry with variable cloud and sunshine.
